Website build in progress. We are not taking bookings yet but you can join our mailing list to receive updates and news about when we will launch our service here.
BPAS believes that all those who are clinically eligible should be able to access the 3 NHS funded cycles recommended by NICE, and we are campaigning to achieve this. We recently undertook some research into the extent of the IVF postcode lottery in England, and you can read our full report here. But if people do need to self-fund their treatment, they should be able to access high quality, evidence-based fertility care at not-for-profit prices.
BPAS Fertility our not-for-profit fertility service has been designed in consultation with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure we provide ethical, evidence based, person-centred care that supports patients on what can often be an extremely difficult journey. We intend to only charge what it costs to provide a safe, high-quality and accessible service to patients who may be unable to access NHS funded care.
Our fertility services will be led by Dr Marta Jansa-Perez as our Director of Embryology. Marta has joined BPAS Fertility after 14 years leading embryology teams in the NHS (Consultant Embryologist at King’s College Hospital and Head of Embryology at Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College) and further experience in fertility services around the world.
We aim to start providing treatment by the end of 2021. If you want to keep up to date with how the service build is progressing and meet our team etc. we have a mailing list you can join here. We will use this newsletter to publish our firm launch date nearer the time.
If you are considering treatment, please do not delay any decisions re treatment based on when BPAS Fertility will launch.
